Publishing agreement signed with developer MADNGINE; global single-build service in preparation
New title carries on the legacy of 'NIGHT CROWS', which has recorded cumulative revenue of KRW 750 billion and 14 million users worldwide
WEMADE also pursues entry of original 'NIGHT CROWS' into the Chinese market this year, expanding global service alongside new title development
WEMADE (CEO: Park Kwan-ho) has signed a publishing agreement with MADNGINE (Co-CEOs: Son Myun Seok, Lee Jung Wook) for a new title based on the 'NIGHT CROWS' IP (intellectual property), and has begun full-scale launch preparations. Both companies are working in close collaboration with the goal of releasing a global single-build version within the year.
The new title is a multi-platform MMORPG playable on both PC and mobile. Building on the proven competitive strength of the original title in global markets, WEMADE's strategy is to deliver an upgraded successor that replicates the success of the 'NIGHT CROWS' IP.
The original 'NIGHT CROWS', released in 2023, has since recorded cumulative revenue of KRW 750 billion and 14 million cumulative users worldwide. The title reached the top 3 in app market game revenue rankings across key Asian markets including Korea, Taiwan, Indonesia, Thailand, and the Philippines, and achieved a peak global concurrent user count exceeding 450,000.
The strength of the 'NIGHT CROWS' IP stands out as a clear differentiator among the many new MMORPGs slated for release this year. WEMADE is focused on sustaining market expectations by building on the gameplay that has earned recognition from global users.
WEMADE plans to unveil specific game details, including the official service name of the new title, on a rolling basis.
Meanwhile, WEMADE is simultaneously pursuing the launch of the original 'NIGHT CROWS' in the Chinese market as part of its broader global expansion efforts.
