WEMADE (CEO: Kwan-ho Park) has announced the 250 Korean representatives selected to compete in the Legend Match at the global esports tournament 'YMIR Cup World Championship Season 2'.


The 'YMIR Cup World Championship' is an esports tournament based on Server Battles, the core competitive content of WEMADE's flagship MMORPG, Legend of YMIR. WEMADE will host the 'YMIR Cup World Championship Season 2' on June 27–28 at the SOOP Colosseum in Sangam, Seoul.


The 250 Korean representatives were selected from among applicants based on their combat power rankings. The selected players will compete in the Legend Match on June 28, the second day of the tournament, going head-to-head against the winning server of World Championship Season 2.


Of particular note, this year's Legend Match was designed with a focus on reducing the power gap arising from the difference in release timing between the Korean and global versions of the game, in order to create a more level playing field.


Players ranked 1st through 250th from both the Korean national team and the World Championship Season 2 winning server will be matched one-on-one by rank, with key conditions such as combat power and equipment tier adjusted to ensure competition under equivalent conditions. As a result, control, strategy, and teamwork are expected to serve as the decisive factors in the match.
