WEMADE (CEO Park Kwan-ho) announced that it has officially launched the global version of its flagship MMORPG Legend of YMIR on the PC gaming platform Steam today (7th).
Legend of YMIR is an MMORPG that follows the story of warriors fighting to restore fate and order in a world plunged into chaos before the onset of Ragnarok from Norse mythology. The game features high-quality graphics powered by Unreal Engine 5 and dynamic, visually immersive combat.
First introduced to the global market in October last year via WEMADE’s blockchain gaming platform WEMIX PLAY, as well as Google Play and Apple App Store, Legend of YMIR demonstrated strong gameplay fundamentals by reaching nearly 200,000 concurrent users. With its launch on Steam, WEMADE aims to further expand its reach among global PC users, enabling more players to experience the game. Certain blockchain features are not available in the Steam version.
Alongside the Steam launch, the new class Rune Fighter has been added to the global service. The Rune Fighter specializes in close-range combat, utilizing gauntlets and greaves to deliver powerful punches and kicks. Its signature skill, Barrier, enhances the abilities of allied units within range while reducing enemy combat effectiveness, making it a strategically valuable asset in large-scale battles.
