WEMADE (CEO Park Kwan-ho) will host the YMIR Cup World Championship Season 2, a global esports tournament for its acclaimed MMORPG Legend of YMIR, at the SOOP Colosseum in Sangam, Seoul from June 27 to 28. The tournament will be streamed live via WEMADE's official global YouTube channel and major streaming platforms.


The YMIR Cup World Championship Season 2 will begin with the World Championship semi-finals on June 27, followed by the World Championship finals and the Legend Match on June 28. WEMADE will conduct online regional tournaments from May 24 to 31 to determine the servers advancing to the World Championship main event.


The World Championship winning server will face Korean representatives in the Legend Match. Applications for the Korean representative slots are open through the official Legend of YMIR website until May 31, with a total of 250 players to be selected based on combat power rankings. Results will be announced on June 2.


The YMIR Cup World Championship is an esports tournament rooted in the Server Battle, one of Legend of YMIR's signature content offerings. Teams compete to destroy the 'Tower of Victory' at the center of the battlefield to claim the crown, then escort it to a designated destination to secure victory. If the escort is not completed within the allotted time, the winner is determined by accumulated points from objectives including Tower of Victory destructions, boss base captures, and PvP combat.


WEMADE has also refined the match format based on feedback from the previous tournament. Most notably, the new 'Life Mode' will be introduced, limiting character revivals to a maximum of three per match to heighten immersion and competitive tension.
